New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Monroe County, Tennessee

Dear Members and Friends of New Hope,

Late last year the Session appointed a pavilion committee to look into the possibility of building a multi function outdoor pavilion that could be used for both Church and community activities. This committee has devised and presented a construction plan and budget to the Session for consideration.

At the March Session meeting it was determined to re-name the project "The New Hope Memorial Pavilion." The projected budget for the completion of this project is $25,500. Further it was reported that materials, at this particular time, are at near record lows and to insure the greatest value for the smallest expenditure it would be advisable to proceed with this project.

To this end, the committee is soliciting memorial gifts to honor family members, mentors, or close friends. Contributions can also be made in honor of a loved one who is still living. Upon the completion of the project a permanent plaque will be placed at the Memorial Pavilion in memory and honor of those named.
